Having owned several MG's, I think that it's just to acknowledge a fellow MG loon..... ffrr drivers always seem to have a serious look on their faces.... maybe their screen of doom and the death bong have just gone off I have yet to see another ffrr sporting a fullfatrr sticker.... mine is an orange one on the off side of the tailgate at the bottom...... right in yer face Everyone else seems to hide theirs under the rear spoiler... I do my best to promote this site and all the good it does...... Grief Counselling being the top service Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one! Many years ago I had an MGBGT (probably wouldn't fit in one now) and I used to give and receive waves to all MG drivers on the road. This was back in the 70's and there were a lot of MGs around and as I was into CB radio back then (my handle was 'Overlord') I also used to get many shouts of 'eyeball-eyeball' over the set when my twig on the roof was spotted. Unfortunately my seat-cover (SWMBO) decided to go and produce little offspring so both had to go...... QUID FACIUM TIBI

Then get a VW type 2 camper. However, speaking as a confirmed aircooledfool they can be a bigger money pit than a FF. Also there are some folks in a VW camper you might nor want to get familiar with. One of the reasons I have never owned a Harley , is that they tend to attract other Harley owners. |

I most certainly greet back if another FFRR driver greets me, with a big smile. Leftover from riding motorbikes my entire life, especially in Holland where the wave was the norm for decades, not sure if it still is since I haven't lived there for a decade or so. Had a hard time not greeting bikes when driving my car for years though MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

ha Eugene, I had the same handicap, it was difficult not to great bikers riding a car. But funny, bikers do greet when you're driving a prewar car.

I wonder if that damp patch on the wall behind that Harley is the residue from real bikers spitting at it? |

Yes Robert, I felt the same way, driving with my hand up a LOT in Holland when I was riding there in 2008. I'm hoping to find the real spirit again in NZ !!! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!! Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !! |

so funny I was a kawasaki ZZR rider in my early years and never had or wanted a Harley, not because I look down on people with a certain hobby or passion, but a Harley doesn't fit me...
