Do these seat thingies work ?

I am a poor person so hence by FFR doesn't have the seats with the built in fans. !
Yesterdays 400 mile trip left me with a very wet back and shirt, even with the air con on.
So is this a mod that helps solve the problem or not ? If not, any other mods that will allow me to keep a bit dryer on these long trips in the summer ?

LOL, I had one of those in the early 90's to put in a company car Which did 50k a year. Does it improve airflow? Not noticeably, does it give the comfort increases as per the claims? Not really, But.......I'll tell you what it did do for me.
Ruined many pairs of trousers
Acted as a dirt trap so when I removed it the seat needed burning and starting again
Helps you slide around in corners so it increases tyre life cost you get to walking speed in the slightest of curves.
Stretched the seat covers such that they would never go back to looking normal again.

Dont, just don't!

....but clearly with taste as you have an FF Very Happy Very Happy

So just ask yourself the question - "Are these 'tasteful' accessories that should be seen in an FF?"

I suggest not.... Rolling Eyes 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

I lived and worked in north-western Australia for a year and many locals used sheepskin seat covers to help keep them cooler when driving and swore by their effectiveness. Si. <This is my name.

Spot on Stan, balls to look at and a larger load of balls when you read the claims. Thumbs Up

I recall reading Australian advice on how to keep cool when driving in hot weather:

"Always keep your Niagaras damp, unless you're meeting Her Majesty of course".

That probably would't help the leather either mind.

Yep, seen them in taxi's ....mainly the ones with a gold tissue box on the rear. I think those are for the nightclub couples, that just can't wait till they 'get a room'
I've also seen a sort of stand off frame, with a sprung stretched fabric, keeping you an inch nearer to the steering wheel.
I think, it's just something we Brits have to put up with for 3 days a year.

...on the subject, of the above comment..if I was driving in such beautiful weather, to the Buckinham Palace garden party, would I need to talc my 'nads?
