Had a bad whistle on mine and it took ages to find. Turned out to be the roof trim with the roof rack flaps in it. Wasn't clicked into the clips properly. Worth a look.

The roof trim is worth a look. I have roof rails on mine for fitting a roof rack. I don't think I'll ever use a roof rack so would like to remove the roof rails. I'm worried that would leave holes in the trim though. Aren't there some flaps that have to be broken off when the roof rails are fitted? I guess it's not easy to fill the holes once the rails are removed. |

i would hazard a guess that the rails are possibly the source of the noise, more so than the gaps in the trim pictured.
