I was in the dealers today chatting about changing.

He's offering a deal on a car they have in stock.

I hear the 17MY will be November build with a larger infotainment screen (same size cutout - no hard buttons around it).

Any view on whether the 17 upgrades are worth hanging on for?

Do we know anything yet?

Don't forget a poster here got £20k discount off a stock car.
Some LR finance was involved i believe.

From all accounts InControl Touch Pro is definitley worth waiting for - even if it still isn't as good as some of the German offerings.

I've been offered £10k off a vogue SE for Sep but suspect there is more off to be had. Anyone know of any better deals? Or worth waiting post Oct?

I was offered £6k off a Sept Autobiography (already built, close to my spec). Or 3% on a 17MY factory build to my spec. I didn't push very hard. I suspect there is more to be had.

The salesman let slip that orders were well down.

Should I go for this new Vogue SE deal?

Okay guys, I'm being offered a Vogue SE (V6) with following spec:

Santorini Black
Ivory trim
Sliding pan roof
Privacy
Front fog lamps
Full size spare
21 inch diamond turned

Total cost on the road £86020.00

Including my Range Rover (PX) (2006, 3.6 V8 Diesel with 95k miles) with a total deposit contribution of £20k so approx. £10k for my RR and £10k discount.

The car is a Sep delivery so none of the 2017 goodies.

Do we think this is a good deal or should I hold out for a 2017 spec car?

I'm going to hold off for a 17MY.

I'm finding myself tempted by the SVA Dynamic. ! Shocked Shocked !

I probably should ease back on the meds.

It's one of those "you pay your money" scenarios. If you were to order the MY17 I'd guess your car would be worth similar money to now and whilst you won't get anything like that discount you may get a little bit and another bigger bit for finance. So I'd guess the figure would be closer to £5k difference in the overall spend in the end. For that I'd have the newer spec car, so you can enjoy it yourself and get a bit back when you sell it on. Thumbs Up

I assume your fatherland is Germany.

I am seeing 25% depreciation on late MY2015 cars that have only 10K in Germany.
In Belgium there is an SDV8 LWB for sale with every option, its a MY2016 from September 2015 and can be had for EUR 103K that car was EUR 142K new so thats even over 25% depreciation within the year.

It looks like older L405s do keep up their price-level pretty good once the initial depreciation has kicked in.

That said, the above are diesel not SuperCharged animals. RR's that are part of my car timeline since I bought my first RR Classic in 1999:
