They are nuts, not bolts, Dan at Duckworths is your man, he sells OEM ones at a very reasonable price..

They tend to swell after a while so be careful sourcing second hand ones... Thumbs Up Pete

Ah thats interesting so why does my car need a different size NUT depending on the wheels? The threads are the same and they are 1 piece things but the size of the end bit is different, is that not a bolt then, I do bow to your experience Pete Bow down

A bolt or stud has an external thread and a nut has an internal thread.

In the case of Land Rover hubs, they use a stud which is pressed in from the back of the hub. The Range Rover wheel nuts, whilst having the same thread size and pitch for different models since about 1995, have a different external profile to suit the wheels being fitted.
