Because of the stuff I read about on here I thought I should let my Insurance Company know that I have fitted alternative alloy wheels, they were interested to know if they were aftermarket or genuine Land Rover. I confirmed the latter and said I might fit the old ones back on after having them refurbed they said go ahead and said they would send me thirteen quid back and they would waive the admin fee and I don't need to tell them if/when I change back. At first I was puzzled and stressed that the car already had alloys and so the very best I was hoping for was a small additional charge, however they were insistent that I was entitled to a refund - so I gave up  Geoff

I've given up trying to work out how they calculate premiums as some stuff just makes no sense.....
