Just wondering, bit of a long shot here but i've only owned RR since May, and ive seen loads on the roads but not a single one smiles!!! when i used to own my Nissan Skyline i was in a club that called it the Skyline smile...because we loved owning our cars etc there was the typical raise of the hand to acknowledge the other person you saw, but its seems to me, this is not the case here amongst the FFRR, am i being a dick here? just thought it would be a little acknowledgement seeing as we have a "spotted" group? |

Driving my defender I always wave and get waved at by fellow defender drivers.....so much so my wife and kids think it's sad. Never got a wave in the FF when i had it though. |

I greet every FFRR, but there aren't as many here, the French never ever greetback, UK folk does. I just keep on doing it, like I do with British classic cars |

Like Chawks said, a friend of mine with a Defender usually gets a wave from fellow Defender drivers. Maybe we should start a campaign for Full Fat owners SDV8 AB MY 2019

Used to love this in the Defender. Almost every owner would wave back. Such a nice feeling!

Most MG sports car owners do to. is it something to do with shared pain? Mine was a blue one! |

Think the Land Rover wave is pretty much dying out with the Series/defender I used to get a few in my RRC but only had an odd few in the D2 from other D2 or D1 drivers but never in the FFRR. 2004 RR 4.4 V8 Autobiography |

When in my defender on my way to work i see a guy regularly in another defender and always wave but the other day i was in my range rover and by instinct waved at him and he looked at me like i had just pi**ed on his kids!!

whilst passing, I like to look at the car, and the wheel choice, so I don't look at the driver, maybe he's giving me the wave, or the finger, or the coffee bean shaky hand.
