My L405 seems to have developed a creak from the front O/S suspension. Quite faint and intermittent. Half way between a creak and a groan. ANyone know what it is? It will go back to the dealer but it would be good to give them some guidance.

Could be a dry ball joint which is indicative of them being on their way out. V8 or else ... |

The dealer had it on Friday. Returned it without so much as a phone call.

Took it in today and drove a "technician" around in the car. The bloody thing was nearly silent (it gets worse the longer you drive it and heat/dry seems to exacerbate the issue). He did hear it and decided it was the bushes for the anti-roll bars (known problem on the last gen Sport). |

Ive had the full front suspension replaced on my 405 and it still 'thunks' and 'rattles' when it goes over the smallest bumps. I'm going to have to take it back again. the car only had 30k miles on it. Any idea what it might be? |
