Auto lights?

If I just add the auto light switch from an 07 supercharged and switch to auto any idea what will happen?

Ok - is doing all that proven to work? If not is there a way to code the system for drls? Also on my e39 I coded it to switch the lights off even if the switch was on when the key was removed is this possible?
