Faulty heated front seat.

Hi all, it was 40 °C here in south of France today, so it is time for me to think about fixing my driver heated seat which does not work anymore. I think it is a very common fault because when I put it on the light is on for few seconds then stop. Apparently I could change the resistance under the leather and have the job done by a seat specialist ( we call "sellier" in France ) because it is not an easy job. My question is: does anybody here knows the reference of this item and where to order it? Thanks a lot. Of course if somebody did that repair before I would be happy to know. My RR is a 2005 model. Ludo

er, heated seat would by definition heat up the seat , so do you want that in 4o degree hot weather...

i dont think you would have cooled seats on a 2005..

could you clarify what info you actually need.. ... - .- -.

Ludo, This thread may help: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic17436.html
For reference when searching "résistance" translates as "element" in Englsh.
Looks to be quite an expensive job. Crying or Very sad

Only 35C here. Smile

Stan, I am presuming he wants to do it now when he doesn't need it rather than waiting till he does. John
