Can be normal. The ECU raises the idle speed to allow the fan to work properly (that is if you have a model with the engine driven viscous fan). This cools the aircon condenser. |

If my 04 4.4 has been sitting somewhere with the doors open or not locked the battery level drops and the car will automatically raise the idle until the battery has regained a decent charge, normally after a bit of a run. It's normally after it's been to the garage and left sitting around while they work on it.
