I've done this, although on my newly restored Mustang. Had smoke pouring out of the rear wheel drums. Very embarrassing, not to mention rather annoying. |

I had checked it this morning and I think I've had a narrow escape to be honest. Just extra cost I could had done without. On the bright side I need 2 new rear tyres.

No worries, in all honesty I think you'll be ok! My handbrake has never been effective unless on the top click, I never really use it anyway ;P that's after new discs and shoes, I guess the next step is cables but they're a nightmare to do!!! |
