No Stan, took it to a trusted, local, non LR garage where a friend works; and where I know if there was anything worthy (MOT or otherwise) they would advise.

Sailed through... £42!

Thumbs Up

It is Stan.

I no longer know the names, direct dial, mobile numbers, email addresses, break times, annual leave commitments or lunch time preferences of any dealership staff Laughing

Just had my first proper repair Ryan. Though a bit of a random one with a failed airbag, it was done fuss free. Otherwise 12 months on also no problems as such to report😀😀😀 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Read your posts Mark, never doubted it would be covered; good advert for the LR Approved Used Car; and the LR Warranty; and having parallel followed your experience during the past 12 months, it's nice to be reminded that the L322 is a great car and that sometimes when buying A.U, you do get what you pay for, including peace of mind; and maybe ours are good examples of how the end of line L322 cars had just about cracked it.

Whether they did or they did not, I'm happy Thumbs Up

Stan,
The LR approved MOT is not free.
Only any work required in the event of a failure.

Work would be sorted free of charge in any case if you have a LR AUC warranty as they have an MOT insurance as standard in the warranty. Doesn't matter where you have the MoT done, it can't, all the testing stations are supposed to test to the same standards Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Didn't know that about the MOT nmj ... Never use Franchised garages for the MOTs anymore as they're too far away and the local one we use, does an honest pre inspection; and as the cars are well maintained, they tend to pass anyway.

The main dealer we used to use had a bad habit of failing the MOT on alleged 'seized electronic park brake' which they said would be rectified by 'stripping and cleaning', which came in at about 90 pounds. I fell for it the first time. Then when I questioned how it could happen year on year, the young service advisor conceded, we always advise that! Shocked

How is the replacement getting on? Very very good

If a tad dirty filthy manky black... Hoping to wash it today Thumbs Up

Well, have started trying to give it some TLC after months of no chance to keep on top of cleaning it.

Had the 2 front wheels off to clean them with Bilberry etc but there are little black pitting marks that don't seem to be shifting. Most wouldn't notice but annoyed it got to that stage, so maybe a refurb beckons.

Now use a snow foam that can be picked up in most Halford's shops and IMO it is as good as the other ones that need to be ordered online and all for a tenner. Car looking nice and clean again but needs clay mitt and polish to be kept on top of.

Gummi pfledge ordered to keep the door rubbers tip top.

Also gong to order new LR wiper blades from Duckworth's unless anyone recommends different?

Scorpion Verde's performing very well as is the car. It is a good one Thumbs Up
