Need urgent help

Went to my Vogue earlier and the battery was bang flat, I couldn't get nothing out of it. After a lot of messing about trying to get a car close to mine to jump it, it finally struck up.

I had to reset the air suspension setting which I did, only problem I have is my passenger front window won't go up. Nither will the electric wing mirror work. The wing mirror im not immensely concerned about that can be done whenever but I need the window up!

Any thoughts on what's happened? Also my sat nav wasn't working before but now it is, I disconnected that incase the battery was favouring the sat nav instead of the window but it's made no difference.

Any thoughts?

How long do we think it'll need to get going? I've had the engine on around 75 mins now and no progress. What I will say is I switched it off and then on again and the rear windows began to work. I was hopeful it would fix the passenger side too!

I keep reading about battery problems with the l322. Will it be the battery or could it be that I may of left a interior light on by accident Embarassed

Mate, I see you have just acquired it, First thing - take a deep breath, you need a battery, number 1, there could be a number of things draining it e.g. are your headlight wipers in the correct position? Dont worry re windows they need a good charge before they will work properly, put a tarp over it tonight if you need to, welcome to FF ownership, definitely worth it in the end Thumbs Up

This is no help whatsoever, but I have mine for 4 months now and it seems like the things going wrong with it are never ending - the very first being the battery committing suicide after the fist week. At least there is no problem finding something to do at the weekends... QUID FACIUM TIBI

Battery and alternator. They're usually step 1 & 2 when weird things happen. If alternator is good, take out the old one, let it sit overnight, then add a nice, good, fully charged battery and see how things are. It doesn't solve everything, but it's a place to start. Good luck.
