This may take some time, I recently acquired a Hippo Ecorider, billed as a farmers bike etc (google it), anyway it is the most sublime piece of engineering and a testament to its creators. However....... its useless.hence probably why they went into liquidation soon after launch,

It looks like a Mad Max machine and I want to have it matt black, so my question is , whats the best and most cost effective way

If the paint is sound then just scuff it up with something like this

And paint it, if you have bare plastic then spot prime those areas with some plastic primer, then paint it, the size of the bit's you have mean a spray can will give a decent job as it's easy to keep a wet edge on bits that size...  Pete

Plasti dip?

I've just ordered a can with a view to using on part new side grills.

Gives matt effect and completely reversible.

plasti dip mate, easy to paint and will peel off fairly easy if you wanted to go back to the original paint.

Only places I found hard to peel was where it was baked on (so around exhausts etc.) Other than that I had it on my car for almost 2 years and it still peeled off ok providing the paint underneath isn't new and in decent condition. Dan
