Although my wheels are free from kerbing or any other damage, I have been quoted £115 per wheel plus a £30 workshop fee if I just take the car in and they have to remove the wheels. The wheels are 20" and the price includes VAT refitting and balancing and the finish I want is just Silver. It seems a bit pricey so would appreciate any thoughts and opinions. Geoff

Note some places can't cope with 20" wheels.

For a rew pounds more I'm thinking of a powdercoat finish.

That is powder coated, might avail myself of Dans newest bargain  Geoff

Lepsons have a good rep. As an aside, and I know it's personal taste, I really don't like powder coating. It always looks too thick and heavy. Hard to describe really but the standard paint always looks nicer to me.

Demon wheels was recommended to me by a superb dent repair chap so I'd have confidence to use them.

I have used Wheelrite many times and the quality of work/ service is excellent. He powder coats, paint finishes and lacquers to your requirements.

sounds pricey to me, I just had a single wheel done at the wheel specialist in burton on trent for 80. granted it was off the car though.

when they did the old vogue wheels on my black car they got one of the wheels a slightly different colour, I hadn't noticed tbh, but when i went back to have the spare done as i had buckled one of the wheels they spotted it and offered to re do that one for nothing. I said it was fine as they are on the disco with LTZs so not a real issue, so as a gesture of good will they straightened my wheel for free. so a wheel straighten and a refurb on a different wheel for 80.... sounds like a decent price to me.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Try rhino at Tarleton. I've had mine done there and it was less than you've been quoted. They do all the the work for the main dealers in the area and have a good reputation.

I was charged £360 including VAT for 4 x 21 inch wheels finished in shadow chrome.
