Spain 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver
fbh not come this morn

i always set my fbh to come on at 9.10 and every day it has done for a week since i set it untill this morn! any ideas?

or goosed battery,

when my battery needed replacing, the heater wouldn't start - its a fail safe in the system to preserve enough juice in the battery to start the engine.

or perhaps with use every morning over the last few days the alternator hasn't been able to catch up with charge required - especialy if you only do short journeys

For all the faults we claim in the system, the low voltage shut down is amazing. It starts by taking out non essential systems, all in order to keep the engine either running, or able to start.

Has anyone studied the way the systems work, it's amazing. For a simple example, if the headlight ECU fails, another ECU will take over and fail the lights to ON Very Happy Land Rover Addict

The Critical systems on the P38 were all double wired to ensure that even if one wire was damaged the other should be able to carry the data.

A lot of thought goes into our cars...
