L322 low oil warning

Hi all quick question - my e39 with the 4.4 had the oil light illuminate orange when oil was low - do these range rovers do the same as a gentle reminder ?

Thanks

Nope, it is an oil pressure light that is red, if it comes on, usually your engine is already toast....

Not too hard to keep an eye on the oil level with the dipstick though.... Thumbs Up Pete

Yes this is true on my old one it was dual colour orange low red bad - and this rr had a slightly leaky rocker cover currently as I have a 20l drum of oil it's cheaper in time etc to top it up than fix but wondered if it would warn me now I know the answer Wink
