Don't know why but my DMF keeps failing, gives a park brake failure, something to do with the XY shift sensor as well and the amount of slip in the clutch.

Slightly off topic but why do people block out / anonymise number plates on forums?

That's a cracking looking car, Craig. How does the D4 compare to the L322?

Looks great but a manual disco3 or 4 is terrible to drive IMHO |

Bit clunky, but I wouldn't say they were terrible to drive. Does take a bit of practice to get smooth gear changes all the time

Who am I to argue with such a guru on Landrover styling, but a bit 'over wheeled' for my taste |

wouldnt say they are terrible to drive IMHO, not as smooth as an auto box but not that bad really. The gear stick he a slightly upright position and doesn't move back as much as you would think.

In my opinion yes it's terrible to drive. The turbo looses all its boost every gear change so your basically having to then wind the turbo back up unless you are very quick with the gear change. We towed the caravan to the Lake District once and it was a nightmare |

do agree that there is little low down boost and you have to give it a boot full to get it moving, I have found that if I drive with a few more revs on it then progress is a bit smoother if less efficient fuel wise, have stalled it a fair few times until i got used to it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
