Just bought some L405 wheels, whats the best locking nuts?

Just bought some L405 22" alloys for my L322, and want some locking wheel nuts, what type will i need (I'm assuming the newer type?)

and wheres best to get them from? Want a decent set, not flimsy ones that will round off the first time they're loosened Big Cry

Thanks everyone

Where do you live? Where do you park? I have them on mine with 22’s as i wouldn’t want them going missing whilst on holiday somewhere or in a hotel car park... Rolling Eyes

I'm of the view that if you can get a FFRR far enough off the ground, you're probably capable of removing a locking wheel nut....

That said, if you've got even the slightest concern, then I'd get genuine ones from Dan Thumbs Up

my personnel view is that locking nuts are a deterrent, but if the thief really wants your wheels then a lock nut wouldnt stop him getting them.. ... - .- -.

I think it would cost around £150 for a full set of locking sockets from a main agent Stan so, as you say, any self respecting organised FF wheel thief would have a slave set ready... Rolling Eyes

You can get universal removal sockets for less than a tenner Craig. Rolling Eyes

Locking wheel nuts are only a deterrent to legitimate people such as tyre fitters. And they look shi.t as well. 4 nice shiny stainless nuts and one nasty painted thing rusting away in place of the 5th.

Cheers guys
I'm assuming it would be the nuts for the 2005 onwards (with the thicker shaft I think) wheels to fit the L405's onto my TD6?
