help, anyone with IID tool in Bristol avail for EAS reset

Hi guys,

Anyone in Bristol Area able to let me come and use their IId tool to Re-set suspension?

Just had a puncture repaired on rear N/S wheel and the guy jacked up the car using the rear left wishbone, leaving the Passenger door ajar.

On picking the car up, as I drove off, the EAS light came on and warning bong "air Suspension inactive" comes up.

v annoying as this is the first time ever the EAS has had any issue! Have tried the old left to right re-set to no avail.

Many thanks
DB

Would that not be VIN locked to the owner?

if so would be £25 to change to your vin and then £25 to change back.

Properly still cheaper than taking it somewhere though.

Have you tried a battery disconnect...

If not the IID should do it, no vin lock for reading and clearing faults only need registering for CCF adjustments... Thumbs Up Pete

Nice to have met you James.

Also good to see the OBD reader put to use and appear to clear the fault.

If you need it any time you know where I'm to. (Sorry a bit of West Country speak even though I'm a London boy)

I'd be very interested in that wheel provided it has holes and not dimples between the wheel nut holes.

Hi Clive,

Many thanks for your kind help. Will look out the wheel for you.

Sadly the EAS light has come up again so I will have to look at the fault code to see what's amiss.

best,
James
