Thought you might be interested in my experiences renewing my insurance for my 2015MY 4.4SDV8 Autobiography.

12 months ago when I bought it 6 months old, I paid annual premium of £450 thro' Lloyds Bank Car Insurance.
They offered the best deal I could find at that time.
They sent me a renewal a couple of weeks ago asking for £904 (yes, more than double!).
So I "compared the market" and managed to get fully comp with legal protection (a must in my opinion) for £394 from Hastings Premier.
I rang Lloyds to stop the auto-renewal and told them what a bunch of idiots they are.

It just proves, yet again, that it's worth shopping round before renewing anything (insurance, utilities, mobiles etc etc).

I would be interested to hear how my price stacks up against other members experiences
Oh, I'm 57 and do c15000 miles p.a.

About in line with mine. I also went with Hastings this year after 4 years with Privilege.
