Don't get me wrong, I bow my head to the expertise of the driving/riding around the TT circuit, but I find it hard to watch these days, -in the live format, preferring to watch highlights. this way I'm spared the enevitable trauma, of, when a rider, or driver, has a massive 'off' and is possibly killed. It sure looks good, being 'in the seat' with mounted cameras, but one day soon, we will watch it happen, live. The run-off areas, are non-existent, the kerbs are there, the trees are there. the houses are there, and sadly (I fear for most) the public are there, holding smartphones up, unaware of the perspective of an incoming 'missle'.
170mph, is hardly watchable, when you are that close. Timed laps, ensure that there is hardly any passing, though it happens.
It's great to watch this footage, ive even posted a similar one, of Guy Martin chasing Micky Dunlop...but when it goes terribly wrong, usually, only a rider loses his own life, one day, that Scooby, could cartwheel, and kill so many, then it will be outlawed, like something from the Shoreham air show etc.
Sorry, but im getting old now, and don't have the happy-go-lucky 'if in doubt-FLAT_OUT!' mentality.

Sad
