what would you suggest would be the maximum mileage to buy a 4.4 tdv8 where maintenance and/or repairs would become costly.

currently driving a 2007 4.2SC and because of change in lifestyle (towing tintent and/or boat) fuel cost and frequent stops at petrol stations are now becoming a bit of a schlep.

Seen 2 advertised: one a 2011 FFRR 4.4tdv8 with 173000kms (108000miles) at about GBP21000 and 2011 FFRR 4.4 tdv8 with 97500miles for about GBP23500

should i even consider looking at these or rather wait for ones with lower mileage - have time on my side so need to rush

Since one year I haven't no problème and I'mm very satified of this car.
An indication of the consommation: 9.5 litres per 100 km (town and country)
With the boat (2000 kg) behind about 12.5 l/100 km.
