They've run out of SPorts, so you can pick anything, including FFRR!

Could turn out to be offroading in deep snow as well as frozen Mud and Iced over ponds & ditches - can't wait for the fun to begin

Well between me and a few pals, looks like we've managed to get the FFRR , Defender, Disco and FL booked out AM and PM on the 4th Feb at Cheshire Very Happy

A couple of them are allready owners, but i can see a few getting tempted. Very Happy

I've got the 4.4 FFRR, hopefully i can pick up some basic techniques and not get jealous of the 4.4, whilst reminding myself that it cost more than 3 times the price of mine Very HappyVery Happy

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

Hi All,

Had a great afternoon in a brand new discover 4 (less than 100 miles on the clock when we first jumped in) at the LRE Rockingham centre.

Sadly the Rockingham Castle grounds were closed today for a shoot, but that didn't spoil our fun, as a few minutes down the road is a disused quarry which has been landscaped (what'w the correct term for this?) for off off-roading events.

Lots of steep slopes to climb up and slide down (using HDC), rutted bits, slanted bits, narrow lanes, deep water and very slippy mud.

The Disco 4 was shod with normal road tyres and it did not put a foot out of place, so I've now dismissed the idea of fitting AT's on my FFRR next time the tyres need replacing.

shmbo came with me and we both had a great time experiencing what LR's are capable of in the slippy stuff.

Roll on April for the Salisbury trip Smile

Cheers

Justin
