Looks as though the company are looking to do a quality upgrade but given the fairly extensive modification undertaken I wonder how you would fair when trying to insure it.

Didn't a firm from the UAE already crack this and reproduce a 405 on a 322, pretty sure it was talked about on here....and dismissed as a lousy idea!

I am a big fan of the 2010/12 uplift on a 322 but that's a step too far. Like a highly customised car, it's a very small market place. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I'm betting the why is quite simple, for £17k you could have a 4.2ac that looks like a 5.0 SVR version if you stick the badges on. Saving you well over £100k and probably more reliable than the new one with LR build quality lol FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I'm really stuck on the 'why?'
As an engineer, I much prefer the 'Fast and Loud' approach of having an old and ratty exterior with brand new mechanicals underneath. Thumbs Up
Does anyone really believe that if JLR, having spent millions on the L405, can be equalled by a couple of guys in a shed in terms of build quality? Shocked
A very small percentage of the development budget of the L405 was spent on the styling, it was engineered as an entity to be that way for a purpose.
Wallpapering over a 322 does not make a 405, although a do agree is does look little like one to the untrained eye Rolling Eyes
I guess I'll just continue to plough my own lonely furrow of function over form.... Sheep 2012MY Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Vogue...now gone!

No, the text reads like a 3 year old wrote it. No punctuation, shocking English grammar and zero idea how a page should be laid out.

Also, his photography sucks. If that genuinely cost 30 grand to develop one might reasonably expect him to spend the last 500 quid on some professional photography rather than use a 1st gen digital camera, with a horrid blue hue and in the middle of an industrial estate.

I do quite like it although at a projected 10k before paint I don't really predict a massive queue forming.
