I've only had the car 3 weeks tomorrow, and i'm hearing a strange rattle from under the car, its hard to pinpoint where exactly, as it only happen when the car is driving, and the engine revs are at 1200 rpm, i've tried putting the car in neutral or park and just revving the engine but it dosent happen. A friend has a ramp but cant see anything loose or that would vibrate of anything, but i did see oil around the nearside driveshaft boot. I've contacted saxton 4x4 so i'll wait to see what they suggest, it's annoying as its a 5 hour round trip, so I've asked if i can take it to my local LR for investigation at there cost, i'm not holing my breath lol.

Saxton have found the source of the rattle, a split gearbox heat shield, they have a new one and will replace it. they also told me that there was a slight oil leak from the passenger side drive shaft, so they'll fix that too.
