Could be the cabin heater aux water pump. This is supposed to do that, and is a great help bleeding the V8 petrol engines. |

If it's all the time it could be the cooling fan for the ecu box, the big black one, it has a cooling fan in the bottom and a temp sensor, cools the ecu's when it gets hot... The fan's are known to dry up and squeak a bit, if you take the lid off it would confirm it... gave mine a blast of penetrating fluid and it's shut up since.... Pete
