Without an ignition light on or any key reaction at all, how do you get it out of park or release the handbrake, to get it onto your trailer?

How do you get it out of park? The cable for the handbrake would not release that would it? |

There is an emergency release for the handbrake (in the boot) and another for the gearbox (under the cupholders)
