Using Your Own Vehicle for Land Rover Experience Day?

Does anyone use their own vehicle for the LR experience days?

I received my voucher today from LR Australia as part of my New vehicle purchase, and learned that you HAVE to use your own vehicle for the experience day here. Do they provide vehicles in the UK for this sort of thing or is it the same there where you use your own car ?

Personally I'd rather use a LR vehicle for this sort of thing (I know some people would rather use their own), but just wanted to know how many people use their own brand new Range Rovers on these experience days?

Cheers

No you never use your own vehicle in the UK . I can't remember how many sites there are but lets say 4 or 5 across the UK and they all have a range of LR products , all on road tyres . 2008 MY Supercharged

I was a bit disappointed to learn I'd have to use my own vehicle.

Would have been nice to use theirs instead 2015 SDV8 Autobiography - Black, Cirrus, 22" Style 707 Wheels

Here it's all using their vehicles.

Each site usually has at least one of each model - a FF, a RR Sport, an Evoque, a Disco and a Disco Sport - so you book the car you want.

Whilst it's deliberately not particularly damaging, I'd much rather use their vehicle than my own

I chose to pick the FFRR - but on the day I went, I was the only one who did - no-one else owned a current LR product

I sure wish Land Rover Australia would do the same and provide vehicles

Don't really see the point in the experience day otherwise 😐 . I may as well just find my own dirt roads and rivers 2015 SDV8 Autobiography - Black, Cirrus, 22" Style 707 Wheels

The instruction was kind of useful - when to let the torque do the work & when to flex your right foot.

The instructor also went through all the different controls - but if you read the handbook.....

There were also things I wouldn't have thought to try - like going down a steep hill with HDC - then stopping half way down & reversing back up Shocked

I also learnt that the handbrake also acts as an emergency brake when travelling - apparently the fastest way to stop safely in an emergency.
