We've bought a tent

Since i sold the Swift Conqueror, I've missed touring and the plan was to get another tourer in time. To tide us over, we have bought our first tent. I've gone for the Vango Euphoria polycotton as it was last years unsold stock and reduced from £1700 to £1000.

We plan to use it next week so I'll stick a few photos on here as and when.

Shocked I just spat my coffee out - twice

£1000 for a tent - and then letting kids take a £1000 tent to a festival Shocked

I thought festivals were all about £15 tents from Argos that are kind of disposable ?

For a grand, I'd expect it to erect itself even in a gale Whistle

It's not a tent, it's a canvas bungalow, for glamping!

I dont see what the big issue is? My daughter drives a Fiat 500 whereas all her mates drive £500 bangers!!!

I know which one id rather she had a shunt in Whistle

Money aside, its insured (so damage is covered) and her insurance is considerably lower than those driving bangers!
