FBH set to come on daily. This ok?

Hi,

In the colder weather, I'd set the FBH to come on each day for the daily driver (not me/ yup, I'm so gallant Rolling Eyes

Anyhow. Remembered/ realised this morning whilst cleaning the RR that FBH is still set to come on each day.

Is it better to use it daily like this anyway, to stop things 'seizing up' or will I end up wearing it oot?

Thanks Thumbs Up

I don't think it really has any impact on the performance of the heater, but it may contribute to drain the battery. 2005 L322 Vogue Gold gone

It will only come on if various conditions are met. I don't think it will come on now, even if set..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

^ as above have said.

Although I did leave mine set to come on daily and left the car for a week and when I came to start the car.....

She fired up straight away, (I do have a fairly new battery though). Thumbs Up

Sorry Stan I bow to your superior knowledge but even 6, 7, 8 etc degrees is cold and you might still want to heat the car up.

I must admit to reading 15 degrees as being a cut of point for operation of the FBH. I'll try and dig out where I got that from. Thumbs Up 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus
