Hi All

I have been missing for a few years, still been occasionally visiting the site which is as helpful as ever but two young kids has meant time is lacking in my life. I have had my 2007 vogue se since 2010 certainly not the most reliable car that I have had but I love it. It has mainly been used by the wife and kids for the last 6 years as I have my own car for weekday work duties.

I dropped it in for a service and the garage called to let me know that it was another £3k to fix it and also suggested it was about time to trade it in, this was last Monday.

So less than a week later I have not test driven the L405, read a few posts on thoughts from you lovely people on your views on which engine.... I should be picking up a 2014 vogue se 4.4sdv8 with just under 40k miles next Friday.

I am very excited the wife keeps asking me questions about her new car which I can't answer as I have not seen any pictures!

I hope I like it!

Nice to be back here as well as enthused about the new car. I can't mention it to anyone else that I know as I don't want to sound like the idiot with a new car, this is why sharing my excitement on the net seems the best way forward.

Congrats, I pick up my first FFRR in a few weeks, I am also very exited

The Range Rover I am about to p/ex was supposed to stay with me for about a year, I kept it nearly six they really do get uber your skin.

I can't wait to see it as well, it's black with black which is what I have currently. I've not even been as a passenger in one, I'm hoping it is better than mine but not different.

Quick update, managed to pick it up yesterday and I am over the moon. I loved the old one but this is just so much better. 😎

Enjoy! I've never driven any other LR product but must say I really like my L405.....

I must say I concur with the comment on good taste.

Ours are obviously he only three in the world with this wheel/colour combo as well making them very unique, Coz who has a black Range Rover right
