It goes in though a ready made hole in the rear of the spare wheel well, there is a grommet in the hole already, the oem comes with a grommet on the wires to replace and is sealed round.

They then route round the back of the wheel well, ending up in the drivers side rear cubby where you wire it all up and fit the towing module. Should all plug in there Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hi Stew.

When I fitted mine there was a diagram showing the routing of the cable/s.

Looking at the rear of the FF, Below the bumper, just left of centre you will find a rubber grommet. Punch a hole and pass the cable through (before connecting it to the socket Wink Thumbs Up ). Run it along the channel at the rear of the boot towards the off side of the car. My diag. shows it routing in towards the rear seat and into the storage area through a hole, then loops back to the rear of the car ( I think this is to keep the cable from fouling the wheel cover as it is flush when closed) and then up to the connecting socket behind the off side trim panel. Mine is plug and play and works perfectly ( I did tell the car it had a Tow Bar fitted with the IID tool but not sure if I needed to)

I Don't think the routing is that critical so long as you have enough cable and it is not chafing on any sharp edges. Thumbs Up

P.S. Don't forget to pass the cable through the rubber water seal first. Whistle

Andy
