55k after 3 years seems optimistic to me, more like 45k if you're lucky. |

I don't think you can look at depreciation so far (to the offered side of the market) where there are limited cars, to depreciation in three years time when there are more cars around and you will be selling at the bid side.

Moving on from the depreciation, anybody got any thoughts as the when the new straight six diesels will be coming to the L405? Do you think they will be ready for the facelift due later this year? |

I doubt it, I expect they would introduce these in other models before getting to the FFRR, the article from CAR below suggests late 2017. I could not be bothered to wait until then, residuals are strong with Land Rover, current spot price for a 3yr old Vogue with 36k is £54k...I think that's exceptional for such a vehicle and hence why I jumped in now. Residuals of course could move over the next few years but that's a good indicator for a vehicle that's been in the market for 3yrs.

At some point the bottom is going to fall out of these used prices as they can't be sustained much longer by LR dealers holding older stock and we are getting closer to them being 5years old soon which is another age point warranties become more of an issue on used vehicles but LR might just carry on lumping them into the LR approved used I suppose FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
