has anybody swapped to a circuit from a different key either range rover or BMW?

I know ill need to move my transpoder across and then re-sync the remote circuit, just wondering if other had done this with a different circuit from a different key?

I have bought a key from EBay swapped the transponder over and works great my rubbers were burst, it was a Range Rover 3 button remote not a BMW
