Auto lights

Hi all. I use the auto lights and find they don't always come on when I would expect them to be on. I had a merc before and it was the opposite and would turn them on if it was a cloud I the sky 50 miles away. I prefer the mercs way. Can I change this with IID tool ? 2015 4.4 AB

no you cant..

if the headlights dont come on when it gets dark, then it could be a dirty windscreen or the light sensor not aligned properly if a replacement screen has been fitted.. ... - .- -.

FYI In the diagnosis setting on the nav screen it has a live reading of the light sensor. I found it amazing to see how much the ambient light technically drops without our eyes even thinking it is getting darker. Tom
