Sprung metal loops on back of rear seats

Just curious, as can't see them in the handbook. What are the sprung metal loops for in the lower backs of the 2 main rear seats? They are about 4cm long and when you pull them, they come out about 1.5cm and let go , being sprung, they shoot back in again? Assume they are fixings for something? Steve

Could it be an additional fixing point for child seats? 2015 SDV8 Autobiography - Black, Cirrus, 22" Style 707 Wheels

Yep they are anchor points for Australia's retarded child seat regulation , the whole world can get isofix but Australia has to screw it up with the top tether requirement Banging Head 2008 MY Supercharged
