United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Corris Grey
MY16.5 Vogue On Order

It's taken me a while to get round to actually ordered, have been thinking about it for a year on and off!

The Vogue has everything I need so only a few choice options, spec as follows:

- Corris Grey
- Ebony/Ivory interior
- Privacy
- Electric tow bar
- Surround cameras
- Full size spare
- Large washer bottle
- Front fog lights

As you can see a pretty practical spec but this wont be no garage queen, due to arrive late May / early June.
My dealer could not tell me what changes are in the MY16.5 build over the MY16...so it will kind of be a surprise!

Seems a sensible spec - though I'd consider the 825W stereo - I wasn't a fan of the 380W base installation, but that may not be your thing.

I'd add front fog lights. I've only ever seen one 405 without them and that was online.

MY16.5 changes are non existent for the UK market as far as I'm aware. There's a slightly larger displacement for one of the US petrol engines. If you go to rangerovers.net you can find some info there.

MY17 is the first 'facelifted' model so it will have an updated look, much better infotainment, probably better engines, lights, etc.

I'm putting an order in for a 17 as soon as it's announced. Current have a 15.5, which will be 2 years old by the time it arrives.

Yep I do have fogs, I saw a demonstrator without them and your right it did look a bit odd with holes where they are supposed to be.

I have just bought new vogue tdv6 to replace 2011 vogue tdv8
only went for 825 amp stereo , full sliding roof and auto high beam
would not use the fogs at all so waste of money to me
when I ordered the car, the dealer advised me that most people either order a standard vogue with full sliding roof or go full autobiography with all the bells and whistles
very rarely sell a standard vogue and the add on loads of extras
my thoughts were only chose the extras that I would use as I probably wont get the extra money back for them when I sell the car anyway

Fog lights are more about completing the 'look' to me. I've only used mine once Smile

Now auto high beam assist, talk about a waste of money!

Yep - the high beam assist is a PITA - a great idea but doesn't work well enough yet.

Fogs - agree that it's more about looks - even in the thickest of fog I've found them a complete waste of time.

I'd rather have the non-opening pano roof - I rarely open it & the-non opening one doesn't have the bar across the middle, it's just a single piece of glass

Don't forget the large washer bottle too Thumbs Up

Yep went for the large washer bottle, my dealer told me the reason they are so small is the emissions folks suggested it as weight saving measure for the Euro compliance tests...not sure how true that is though. £35 to add a high capacity bottle is not much makes you wonder why they bothered, I am sure the part alone is worth that.

I also went for the fixed roof, wife hates sunroofs open while driving so we only went with what we needed, as has been said you wont see those options represented in the GFV or the potential resale.

That is so true , when I bought my 4 month old l405 it had deployable steps and deployable tow bar and I never paid a penny extra for them. Very Happy

I must say that the high beam assist works perfectly in my car
turns on and off instantly and senses oncoming traffic well Very Happy
I also had the large washer bottle (why wouldn't you for £35 as its always a pain in the arse when it runs out).. Big Cry
I like the roof open in summer so I went for the opening one and am not worried about the middle bar
the 825 stereo is good quality with no distortion but I will say that response from controls seem really slow compared to my 2011 vogue
takes ages for ipod tracks to change or the info to come up on the screen
it always seem to be catching up and not instantaneous Big Cry
sat nav is good with next turning now in the centre of the clocks
car seems to lower more in access mode than the old model which is good
leather seems nicer and the seat heaters are now more consistant
the old model either got too hot or not warm enough
I was always turning it on or off
in all, I am really pleased with the new model
such an improvement on the old one Thumbs Up
