United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Buckingham Blue
My First Range Rover

So As i Mentioned before I have bought myself a 2007 TDV8 L322 Autobiography, first RR however 6th Land Rover!!

So it is in need of a good polish that's for sure and I was going to get Topaz to 3M the sides with a protective wrap and polish but at £5500 its a little excessive, so I guess I will leave it for the time being and do it myself when i get the chance. Now the A- Bar I am in two minds about, one i get rid of it completely or two i keep it and attach a pair of Lazer lamps i have that came from my Defender. Oh and the side steps will go so if anyone is need of a pair then these will be available some time soon.

So here it is:

Oh and now it has the annoyance of a faulty parking sensor in the A-bar, not sure how easy they are to remove, any help?

The rear sensors pop out quite easily but you have to be gentle. You dont need to drop the rear bumper but if you do have a cushion or two for it to sit on and don't let it hang on the wires! You can get at them from underneath if it's either of the ones in the end and you have to have small hands and long arms!

I have a spare sensor if you need.

Sorry didn't read it properly! Embarassed
You can get at them without dropping the bumper but never having had aN A bar not sure how that interferes. Sorry.

Hi,

I like the wheels, what are they?

And why do people not like side steps? I'd keep the A Bar, looks great, but then I would say that as I have one to.

Cheers, Jerry

They are 20inch BBS Split rims, admittedly I haven't seen many with these wheels on myself, but they are a good looking wheel as it foes. perhaps they were only available on the Autobiography. As for the side steps, not sure they will fair well to being battered.

I remember those wheels being a seriously expensive option - they crop up every so often on eBay, but they are pretty rare.

What do you reckon a roof lightbar like the one from James bond on the SVR will look like on mine?

Cool Blinding...every time you turn it on... apparently Range Rovers suffer from glare off the bonnet with roof mounted lights, so I'd be careful... try and find someone who's already done it to see how bad it is Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
