Can you please advise the price and part number for the gasket between exhaust down pipe and the manifold.

99.9% sure it doesn't have a seal, it's a dry joint... had mine apart when I did the gearbox... seals fine as it is... Pete

Not to sound like a wise guy but the NAS versions, or at least mine has it, have a "stub pipe" that goes between the manifold and the catalytic inlet pipe. It houses the upstream 02 sensor. I'm trying to find the ing gasket myself. You can see it on page 1132 of the workshop manual. |

I think I found a suitable replacement for this gasket. Mr Gasket header collector gasket #5971 matches the bolt holes. The OEM part has a 2 3/4" i.d. and this alternative has a 3" i.d., but it does mate up well. Tomorrow morning I'm going to finish this job and install these gaskets and I will share my results. |
