I've used the navigation a few times recently in our 2012 322 and have been pleasantly surprised how good it is; haven't experienced the issues you are reporting. |

Mines fine, never missed a turn due to a late announcement

It has never got the wrong location but in city centres for example, it has struggled to keep up.

Still running on the original Sat Nav on MY02 never failed me on the the occasions when I haven't used my pigeon brain to get where I am going. Never missed a turn, always plenty of warning, and gets very upset when I ignore its instructions Does get a bit lost where there are new roads though .

I have not had any problems with my Tomtom Used the on board once, didn't like it, so installed the Tomtom and haven't looked back, especially as I get live traffic updates Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I ran Google Maps and the onboard side by side on our Xmas/NY 2015/6 trip and both performed well. My maps on the onboard are 2010 (probably more like 2009) or the maps that came with the original car when new AFAIK. Not worth the money updating the maps as Google Maps / Waze etc. are much better value anyway (and available worldwide, unlike the onboard).

I think that the "Best 4x4 By Far" has been abbreviated and is missing the last bit that should read "In Chelsea" I purely didn't use mine because it didn't do traffic, and it was a 2D screen... I'm so used to a 3D screen, having used a Tomtom for 14 years, there is no way that I'd down grade to 2D Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

The old MKIII was really unusable. CD maps, only one country per CD, slow response, '80s 8-bit graphics...
