So my wife's car say something about light load when you start it up and it's checking pressure etc..

So I was playing to see a little more and found you can select in the in car menu light and heavy load etc.. I also found an area where you could check the tire pressures.

A little picture pops up showing the wheels and the recommended pressure in brackets but the number before that was always 0, which I assumed was supposed to show me the actual pressure?

Is my assumption right and if it is has it been disabled and hence now showing 0. If so can I get it reenabled?!

Searching some threads I'm wondering if the TPMS is a pain in the rear possibly of was this a problem on the L322s?

I guess first thing to check would be that the wheels have TPMS valves in them - they will be metal as opposed to normal rubber valves.

I had no end of trouble with it on my L322, so my L405 doesn't have it fitted so I can't be of much more help.

Your L 405 dos not have TPMS ? Alistair ? Doesn't it come as a standard ?  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

It didn't come standard until it was a legal requirement sometime in 2014 I think - mines a late 13 VSE and it was an option then.

We have the metal air intakes if that is what we should have for TPMS?

I think it's still an optional extra on the Landrover Build your own Car system although maybe not but I'm amazed it wasn't standard I agree.

Yes we have it on Topix too. I guess if we didn't the sensor information wouldn't show in the dash either at all?
