Botox for a 2006

Since my wallet is still recovering from buying her and I can't yet afford a proper facelift, I thought I'd try the PowerfulUK grille in addition to painting the lights black. The grille looked crap in the original silver so I sprayed the inner grille in Audi Dakota Grey from Halfords to de-bling it a bit.

I'm still not 100% sure, but thought I'd sleep on it for a few days and see if it grows on me. Any thoughts?

BEFORE SHOT FOR COMPARISON

Put two Rhodeasian Ridgebacks in a Range Rover and pretty soon it's their Ridge Rover.

Been there, done that, got the badge.

Gave up on the black look and went back to the original SC grill. Don't dislike the powerful grill tho. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Hi,

Car looks great but have to agree re black lights, not my cup of tea. I'm also a person who likes the pre 2009 face lift.

Cheers, Jerry

The Powerful grille makes it look Discovery to me. I'd prefer the original and not so blacked out. But then I prefer my FFRR factory standard usually. Sorry. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Top Grille looks clumsy and slabby (looks like it should be on a van). Bottom picture looks so much better. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Yeah, sorry, looks like a Disco to me too... there again I prefer the original 2002 to the 2010 so don't listen to a word I say Rolling Eyes

If you like it then keep it....

Australia 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

I keep lookin at that style. I don't mind it. It does make the front look like a cross between an early disco 4 and L320.

If I buy it will be original grey colour. Although I too am a bit inclined to keep it original. Also due to cost, I will probably paint my grill. ______________________________

I'm not a fan of the 2010 look. I sort of like the lights, but a really don't like the grill, in any colour combination.

But it's not for me to tell you, what to have, or to bad mouth your choice. I don't like chrome bits, but loads of people seem to.

P.s. I have the midrange facelift/lights. With sc grill 'look' on my 2002

The more I look at it the more I'm coming to the conclusion that you just can't mix styles. The solid chunkiness of the 2006 lights doesn't quite jive with the 2010 style grille. Guess I'll add this grille to my growing collection in the garage Whistle

Love my black lights though!! Very Happy Put two Rhodeasian Ridgebacks in a Range Rover and pretty soon it's their Ridge Rover.

Got to ask..... What are those scaffold plank ramps for, in the pictures.... a bit of extra fun parking for the Rangie? Or the wheelbarrow?

We have really steep fields going up from the garden and occasionally the local shepherd needs to get up to repair a fence or something. So he goes up the ramp in his defender and then you can probably just make out how the earth is graded to get up to the higher level and the back gate. Put two Rhodeasian Ridgebacks in a Range Rover and pretty soon it's their Ridge Rover.
