as i understand it, the vogue between 2002 and 2005/6 is DSP (standard) and the slightly lesser HSE is not, unless optioned. so your vogue has the better screen/radio cassette and remote cd player.
read up on andriod head units. on here... make a big cup of tea, as there are many posts and success stories on here. to upgrade you vogue unit, and keep some functionality, and recoop the costs of new unit etc. there is some wiring to do, not just plug and play.
but im told its a new window to the modern type of motoring, with great sound, fatures, and functionality, and looks very similar, and professional.
-and a host of upgrades..

I have spent many hours pondering over whether it's possible to an android head unit with the DSP system intact, and came to the conclusion that it was possible easily, BUT, there was a risk that you would only have volume control on the steering wheel and the rest of the functions would have the accessed via the screen.

To enable to everything as standard as possible you need to remove the CD changer in the glovebox and replace it with a CD emulator Aux input, like this http://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTVBMX001 (will require a rewire in to the CD changer wires, but not rocket science) Then move the old head in to the glovebox, which will still give you access to all the functions that it does, and then run a phono lead to the new head unit and plug in to the aux out, and hey presto Very Happy No hacking up the speaker wires and trying to add crossover networks (only required if you want to get the best out of the speakers) More importantly it is reversible without too many complications, and you can set the clock to what time you want at any time that you want and not just 12 o'clock every day Wink Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
