Is there any info on the forum aboute overhaul of the High pressure pump??

I have only 80-90 bar pressure when I try to start my 03 - TD6, so it will not start with out quicik start (spray)
I think it has a cp1 pump. I called a workshop and the mechanic said I could repair the pump my self using a repairkit.
He also told me that the pump it self probably is OK. Just take it apart and change all sealings.

Please do anyone have any expiriens/ advises on the matter?

I Have heard conflicting reports regarding repair of the TD6 pump, some saying not diy able. A quick look on e-bay will show two kits, one for the pump and one for the pressure regulator. From your post stating pressure problems the regulator repair looks a good starting point...The seller also provides instructions.
