Think it went past me today as well
If it was that car it's a left hand drive
Don't know if that changes much as I would assume
The l322 was replaced with the l405 at the same time
No matter what country it came from ?

The fact that it is registered later after the L405 was launched is not any surprise. The Classic was still being built and registered after its P38 replacement came along. Other manufacturers regularly offer the old model at cut down price to get shot of stock, as long as the vehicle meets the current regulations when First registered it could sit in JLR's field for years. What is a puzzle in my mind is the 'modified' status.

Odd, while I was searching for a 'white' FFRR Witham Specialist Vehicles had a new unregistered L322 for sale, but I am sure it was for 'export' only. I may be wrong as I didn't really give it more than a passing glance. --RiDDO

I think the price reflects the fact you're not buying a car, you're buying a dream:

Like a powerful Polar Bear striding across the Ice Cap ...

Face-dropped? Got enemies? Good, you have stood up for something in your life.

Never regret growing old, it is a privilege denied to many.
