bluetooth to android connection on a RR 2005 vogue

hello was wondering whats the best way to connect the bluetooth if fitted to a android phone in my 2005 RR vogue currently has the old nokia module in and screen says no phone fitted

Hi and welcome, on your phone search bluetooth devices and then select landcover and enter 2121 as the pin, thats if you have the touch screen model.

yep its the touch screen model just dosnt seem to find any connection but i will try again cheers

you should see landcover come up on your phone and pair with 2121, if you have the old module you will have to pair every time you get in the car.

nope still wina pair wont even find the landrover signal as though no signal being sent out

It will be sending out a Bluetooth signal because if it was gubbed the whole infotainment system would be down , the problem is probably that your phone is too new for the ancient nokia phone unit . It might even be too old to update the firmware though so you will need to look for a newer nokia unit or replace with a unit from a D4 but that is not plug and play but not that hard either .

For the earlier posts without touch screen FF's you need to search ULF phone modules , there is quite a lot on the subject though so make a cuppa . 2008 MY Supercharged

Not true, could have been easily and cheaply bypassed if it got wet...

We need a pic of the inside of the passenger side boot once the first panel is removed to help show what unit you need to check FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
