info about amplifier Harman Kardon Logic 7

Hi to all.

I have a L322 Vogue 2006 model with "most bus".

I read (i don't remember the link) that amplifier have a toslink input... it's true?
and so... it would be possible put a external audio with this plug?

And also...
if i wold want to change all system (touch screen, radio, nav...) if i would bought a different amplifier and then i would connect every speaker wire in new amplifier it will work? or also speaker are "special"?

Thx

Nothing special about the speakers, replace the head unit and you loose FBH control and 4x4 info etc etc... I imagine it would throw various faults as well...

You could keep it mounted in the lower glovebox and fit a different head unit and run them side by side....maybe..!! Pete

Thanks for reply Haylands. I think that FBH it's not related to "most ring" because, if i break the ring i can read information on little display in dashboard.
It's depend, in my opinion, from IHU (that i not will touch)

4x4 information and clock management i know i'll loose

FBH i will can control with a obd2 plug and a android app (i think)

And about Toslink plug in the amplifier anyone know something?

It's a desperate decision by JLR to see if they would be more reliable if they pretended they were made by the Japanese....

(Sits back and waits for the "my jap car was unreliable" comments.... Whistle ) Pete
