I had this drawer setup in the back of my P38A. I'd put in in the L322 but spare wheel access becomes an issue.

Hi Guys, Hi Geoff, Craig, and Ron!
Have not had much time to hang on the forum as of late - sorry to jump in here 3/4 of a year after the thread was started...

Geoff, not too many guys have RRs converted to sleep inside - that is more of a Defender thing. I don't see why not if you are by yourself, though. No worries on the ventilation - cars are constructed with very open ventilation as well otherwise there'd be suffocated people in car parks all over the world. The only real issue is condensation. We travel with the entire family, so I have 2 roof top tents (which my father in law had on his RR Classic in the 70's, believe it or not). I only had the pic below available on short notice. I thought we had some pics of the tent closed in the slideshow on the GAP website, but the roof rack was cut off due to the ultra wide pic format. I welded up the rack on our RR, but you can use a regular roof rack as well. Highly recommended!

Craig, somehow those mattresses look unsavory. And it's not just the poop brown color... Shocked

Ron, (how have you been - it has been quite some time!) you need to add the swing away wheel carrier you had on the P38. Same issues all over again on the L322. I am planning on building a tire carrier - hopefully this summer...

Camping on the beach near Izmir, Turkey. We use the IIDTool's manual valve activation to level the RR/Tents. I had dropped the front quite a bit here and not adjusted the RTT ladder to compensate.

Hi Steve, yes it has been quite a while. I took a break of a few years off RangeRovers.net after I dropped being an Admin there.

I'm afraid the Kaymar rear bar and swingaway wheel carrier on the P38A went with the car when I sold it.

I have Rhino roof bars on my L322 and will pick up one of their Pioneer platforms next week. I might put the spare up there if I can work out how to lift it up and lower it! Rhino make a wheel hold-down for their racks.
